wi-tribe is the leading wimax operator in Jordan

wi-tribe, the focused wireless internet provider in Jordan, has taken over half of the market, based on statistics revealed in a comprehensive report by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission in Amman, making wi-tribe Jordan the largest wi-max operator in terms of customer base.

The release, issued by the TRC, shows that based on a study they conducted, the number of wi-max users in Jordan has increased from 8000 users at the end of 2008 to 16000 users at the beginning of 2009. Currently 51% of WiMAX users in Jordan are subscribed to wi-tribe.

wi-tribe Jordan CEO Bassam Hannoun expressed his great pleasure at this remarkable achievement saying, "We are extremely proud that we have earned people's trust in such a short span of time.
